CM Yogi gives green signal to Tejas, country’s first private train, IRCTC will pay damages if it is late


Tejas Express, the first private train of IRCTC running from Lucknow to New Delhi, was flagged off by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday. It is the first private train in the country to be fully operated by IRCTC. Passengers traveling from Tejas on Friday did not get entry from the cab-way but had to enter through the main gate of the station. On this occasion, CM Yogi congratulated the first passengers to travel in Tejas. He said that this is the first corporate train to see. I hope that more such steps will be taken so that other cities can be connected through this medium. 

Tejas Express, the country’s first corporate train, has facilities like passengers for passengers. The number of this special train is 00501. The train will go through Kanpur and Ghaziabad to New Delhi while the train will start running regularly from October 6. 

A complimentary lunch will be provided by IRCTC to the passengers making the first journey of the train. Also gifts will be given. Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav, IRCTC CMD MP Mal, General Manager of North Eastern Railway, Rajiv Aggarwal, CRM Ashwini Shrivastava including IRCTC were present in the inaugural program along with CM.
